What is Binairo?

Binairo (also known as Takuzu or Binary Puzzle) is a logic puzzle played on a rectangular grid. The objective is to fill every cell with either a 0 or a 1 while satisfying several constraints. Each row and column must contain an equal number of 0s and 1s. No row or column can have more than two consecutive identical digits. Additionally, every row must be unique, and every column must be unique. Every puzzle has exactly one solution. Our generator guarantees unique solutions and ensures all puzzles are solvable through logic alone, with no guessing required.

Daily Binairo Format

A new Binairo puzzle is published every day at midnight UTC. Each puzzle is uniquely numbered from the day we launched daily puzzles, creating a permanent archive you can reference or revisit. The daily format builds a shared solving experience—everyone around the world tackles the same puzzle each day. Maintain a streak by solving consecutive days, or jump back to complete puzzles you missed.

How to Play

The goal is to fill a 10×10 grid so that each row and column contains exactly 5 zeros and 5 ones. No row or column can have three consecutive identical digits (for example, 000 or 111 is not allowed). All rows must be distinct from each other, and all columns must be distinct from each other.

Start by looking for forced cells. If a row or column already has two adjacent 0s, the cell next to them must be a 1 (and vice versa). Keep track of how many 0s and 1s remain in each row and column. When a line reaches five of one symbol, all remaining cells must be the other symbol. Use the Check button to highlight conflicts and validate your progress.

The timer pauses automatically when you switch tabs or minimize the window, so you can take breaks without penalty. Your progress saves locally in your browser (via IndexedDB), so you can resume any puzzle right where you left off. No account or login required.
